On September 15, 2021, David’s Agribusiness commenced the groundbreaking for its expansion. A brief ceremony was also conducted to pray for the enterprise’s project.

David’s Agribusiness is one of the pioneer mushroom growers in Quezon, Isabela, Region II. Mr. David Sumajit, founder of David’s Agribusiness, started his passion in growing mushroom at a young age. By that time, he only has a 2x2 meter growing house where he can harvest an approximately half kilogram of mushroom daily. With hard work, perseverance and the support of the different government agencies in the region, David’s Agribusiness is now producing a daily average of 3 to 5 kg mushroom.

With the mission of the enterprise to increase production capacity to meet customer needs, it plans to expand its growing house to produce a minimum of 50 kilogram/day. As one of the Incubatees of CSU-BizNEST, David’s Agribusiness was assisted in the preparation of its Business Plan for its Agri-Negosyo (ANYO) loan Program application. The Agri-Negosyo (ANYO) Loan Program is a non- collateralized, zero-interest loan program for agri-fishery based enterprises program of the Department of Agriculture- Agricultural Credit Policy Council.
